Healthcare After Work: Bringing Urgent Care to You When Traditional Offices Are Closed

Getting sick rarely happens at a convenient time.

The sore throat starts Friday evening. Your cough gets worse after work. A urinary tract infection begins on Saturday morning. Your child brings home a virus, and suddenly you're feeling sick on Sunday.

Unfortunately, traditional healthcare doesn't always operate on the same schedule as our lives.

Healthcare Should Fit Your Schedule

At Weekend NP, we believe getting healthcare shouldn't always require taking time off work, rearranging your day, or spending hours sitting in a waiting room.

That's why we're bringing convenient healthcare services to patients during the hours when accessing traditional medical offices can be difficult.

Evenings. Weekends. From home.

Through telehealth, patients can meet with an experienced healthcare provider to discuss many common health concerns, determine appropriate treatment, and decide whether additional testing or in-person evaluation is needed.

What Can Be Treated Through Telehealth?

Many common urgent health concerns can initially be evaluated through a telehealth appointment, including:

  • Cold and flu symptoms
  • Cough and congestion
  • Sinus symptoms
  • Sore throat
  • Urinary symptoms
  • Rashes and minor skin concerns
  • Allergies
  • Gastrointestinal symptoms
  • Minor injuries
  • Medication questions and appropriate refills

Telehealth isn't appropriate for every medical condition. Symptoms such as severe chest pain, significant difficulty breathing, signs of stroke, severe bleeding, loss of consciousness, or other potentially life-threatening emergencies require immediate emergency medical attention.

But for many everyday health concerns, a virtual visit can be a convenient place to start.

Use the Insurance You're Already Paying For

Convenience shouldn't necessarily mean paying entirely out of pocket.

Weekend NP accepts many PPO insurance plans, including Anthem PPO, Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, and UnitedHealthcare PPO.

Coverage and patient responsibility depend on your individual insurance plan and the services provided — see our pricing and insurance page for details.

Your Workday Ends. Your Healthcare Shouldn't.

Healthcare is changing, and patients increasingly expect access that fits into their lives.

Weekend NP was created around a simple idea:

Healthcare should be available when it's convenient for the patient — not just when it's convenient for the healthcare system.

Whether you're feeling sick after work, wake up with symptoms on Saturday morning, or simply can't fit another appointment into your workday, we're working to make getting care easier.
